Community Spotlight – District 10

Miami’s hospitality community announced that Job Gutierrez, Director of Human Resources at The Biltmore Miami-Coral Gables, has been named the 2025 HR Leader of the Year by both HR Miami and HRABC, the leading South Florida chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

This dual recognition underscores Job’s impact as one of hospitality’s most innovative HR leaders, transforming workforce development through talent pipelines, international recruitment, socially conscious hiring practices, and leadership development initiatives.

Originally from León, Mexico and raised in Phoenix, Job has spent over 14 years driving HR strategy for luxury hospitality brands including Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and Highgate. Since joining The Biltmore in 2022, he has championed programs supporting special needs internships, immigrant workforce integration, and reentry opportunities for formerly incarcerated women, setting a new standard for socially conscious hospitality HR.

Notably, this recognition comes as The Biltmore approaches its historic centennial in 2026, a milestone that will celebrate the property’s legacy as one of America’s most iconic hotels while showcasing the people shaping its future.
